Antonio Garcia is a former karting world champion and three-time class winner at the Le Mans 24 Hours. After a very successful karting career, Garcia also won the Spanish and European championships; he graduated to single-seaters in 1998.
After several wins in his first two seasons, Garcia won the 2000 World Series by Nissan championship after securing four wins on his way to the title. Garcia switched to Formula 3000 in 2001 and also made his debut in the FIA GT series before returning to the World Series the following season and he also made one test appearance for the Minardi F1 team.
In 2003, Garcia switched to the European Touring Car Championship with BMW Team Italy-Spain where scored four podiums and finished eighth in the championship standings. After finishing seventh in the 2004 ETTC Garcia moved the World Touring Car Championship with BMW in 2005. He claimed three podium finishes on his way to ninth in the championship standings.
In 2006, Garcia made his debut in the Le Mans 24 Hours and competed in the GT1 category. He claimed class victory with Aston Martin Racing in 2008 before moving to Corvette Racing the following year and he retained his class title.
In 2009 Garcia also won the Daytona 24 Hours overall and the Sebring 12 Hours GT1 class. He added another Le Mans class win with victory in the 2011 GTE Pro class and won the American Le Mans Series GT championship in 2013.
